Graduation Season (Secret Crush)

Before graduation, he asked me what my favorite color was. I didn't have one, so I said it depended on my mood. Later, he bought a little color-changing lamp. When he turned it on, it glowed red, yellow, green, blue, and purple. I froze for a moment, accepted his gift, and gave him a tiny potted cactus in return.

But everyone was saying he liked another girl. I looked at the gift he'd given me and thought about the person he liked... Was it me?

Then, during evening study hall that night, he suddenly ran his fingers through another girl's hair. Only then did I understand why everyone said he liked her.

I was right to like him, but I couldn't let my feelings go on any longer.

Theme: Whether love is returned or not, it brings sorrow.
