I have been loving all kinds of Gothic movies recently. After watching a lot of them, I wanted to write such a Gothic story in my own novel. Actually, I don't know much about the so-called Gothic, so this article is just my opinion! My favorite fairy tale is Andersen's The Daughter of the Sea. This story borrows the name of Cinderella, The Soul of the Mermaid.
