A Game of Go

INTJ x INTJ | Independent Curator x Security Technology Consultant

Years ago, Zhu Yu fell in love at first sight with a stranger named Ning Zhe. The moment she started falling for him, her instincts kicked in!

She immediately lost interest and left without a trace, as if nothing had ever happened.

None of her friends or family ever knew that someone named Ning Zhe had been in her life.

Now they've met again, and Ning Zhe has his hand around her throat, trying to kill her.

Zhu Yu isn't surprised at all. She smiles and greets him, then turns the tables, restrains him with ease, and walks away in style.

Before leaving, she can't resist mocking him:

Getting old makes everything a drag, huh, Uncle?

Ning Zhe has been devoid of emotion since birth. In his understanding of the world, there are only objectives and results.

To blend into society better, he made contact with a young woman named Zhu Yu.

He deceived Zhu Yu to demonstrate the theories he'd learned.

Thinking his success meant he could finally fit into society, he immediately turned and left, never contacting Zhu Yu again.

But one day, after repeated attempts to engage with society, his boss sent him a brand-new assignment.

The photo was unmistakably Zhu Yu, now more mature and sophisticated.

Boss: Know her?

Ning Zhe: Slept with her.

Though he has no feelings, Ning Zhe accepts the assignment. But for some reason, all his theoretical knowledge proves useless when put to the test with Zhu Yu, again and again.

Is there something wrong with the sample, or has the System not been updated...

Ning Zhe can't find the bug, and he doesn't know where to start looking.
