My husband has fallen out of love with me.
He keeps me cooped up at home, won’t let me go out alone or contact other people freely, and has turned me into a canary who lives only for him. And yet he’s the one who fell out of love so easily.
If my life followed some tacky TV drama, a dependent character like me would be doomed to be abandoned sooner or later. I’d either turn a blind eye and keep trying to please my husband, or play dirty and fight the other woman to the death.
But I must have something wrong with my head. I started gathering clues about my husband’s strange behavior, not to get a better deal in a divorce someday
I just want to know when he first fell out of love with me.

The day after that, an assistant from the Wan family approaches Ji Xingtai and offers him three million to pretend to be Daddy’s engagement partner.
Ji Xingtai is wary. “Does that price include sleeping together?”
The assistant smiles. “Qi Yanyun has pheromone insensitivity. He’s not interested in Alphas, Betas, or Omegas. You needn’t worry.”
Then it’s basically free money. Ji Xingtai would have to be an idiot to hesitate for even a second, so he signs the contract and gets engaged.
But Ji Xingtai has no idea that everything is under Qi Yanyun’s control.

Everyone says the Qi family’s young master, Qi Yanyun, is outstanding and a perfect gentleman. No one knows he has an almost pathological need for control.
Qi Yanyun marries Ji Xingtai and brings him home to be a well-behaved ornament symbolizing the relationship between their families. Who could’ve known he’d end up with a little menace? He wants to control what Ji Xingtai eats, wears, and does, keep an eye on his grades, and even manage Ji Xingtai’s belated Omega presentation.
He tries to control everything. Just when Qi Yanyun thinks Ji Xingtai has finally learned his lesson, the little menace secretly drugs him, takes off his clothes, sits on his lap, and shamelessly tries to seduce him.
But when Qi Yanyun sees his pale skin and flushed nape, he’s dazed for a moment, and his body changes in an instant. He catches the sweet, cloying scent in the air and quickly realizes it’s Omega pheromones.
Ji Xingtai: Your condition… suddenly got better?
Qi Yanyun: You shameless little thing. How should I punish you this time?
It’s a night Ji Xingtai will bitterly regret. All he wanted was to trick Qi Yanyun into giving him a temporary mark, so Qi Yanyun wouldn’t abandon him when the fiancée he’d replaced came back.
Who knew his nominally frigid Alpha husband would undergo a second differentiation and turn into a beastlike Enigma?
Their fake marriage becomes real.
