Xin Ziming was an ordinary, despairing corporate drone. Every day, he faced work that never stopped causing trouble, managers and coworkers who couldn't understand plain speech, and a future with no surprises. Playing games was the only thing keeping him going.

That's right, he was the kind of person who toiled at the office all day, then went home and kept toiling in games at night. The genre he loved even had another name: Peasant Simulator.

Every day, he dreamed about the NPC peasants' latest demands:

"Governor, where's the housing you promised us?!"
