Running a Creature Breeding House in a Beast-Taming World

After inexplicably transmigrating into a beast-taming world where people live alongside contracted beasts, Lu Ling found himself with no money, no memories, and no parents. All he had was an acceptance letter from the animal-breeding department at a university in a neighboring city.

To survive in this world, Lu Ling decided to enroll first and figure out the rest later.

And so he became a student in the animal-breeding department, where every day he was responsible for caring for all kinds of baby contracted beasts at the nursery: feeding them milk, carrying them out to bask in the sun, giving them preschool lessons, and so on.

But could someone explain why he was the only student in an entire animal-breeding department?

Why did people come to him for help with everything, from contracted beasts hitting their masters during their rebellious phase, to contracted beasts running away from home, to contracted beasts wanting to pursue their idol dreams?

More importantly, why could everyone else form a pact with a contracted beast, but not him?

Since every university student had to have a contracted beast partner, Lu Ling was about to be forced to drop out. He could only pick a random white egg that had been stored in the animal-breeding department's warehouse for hundreds of years. Taking advantage of its inability to voice an objection, he forced it to form a contract with him. Who could have guessed that several months later, the egg would actually hatch...

Years later, people would discover that Lu Ling was not only the best contracted-beast breeder in the entire empire, but also its strongest fighter.

Who says the animal-breeding department can't produce a legendary beast tamer?
