The Little Prince Turned into a Dragon and Flew Away

[This is not abandoned! I'll come back to update this after finishing the new story I'm working on next door. It won't take more than three months. Just think of the earlier chapters as a preview. And please, please add it to your favorites. It really means a lot to me, ahh!]

Si Zhao is a prince of the Wenxing Kingdom, spoiled rotten since childhood. He is innocent and kind, but has neither ability nor political savvy.

Then, overnight, rebels overthrow the kingdom. The emperor falls into a coma, imperial authority is stripped away, and the rebel leader uses the renowned general Si Zhao's name as a pretext to keep him confined in the palace.

Just like that, Si Zhao becomes a decorative figure in the inner palace. He has the prestigious status of a prince, but no freedom or future, and can only serve as a controlled puppet.

He thinks he will never see hope again, until one day he suddenly learns the truth.

It turns out that on the day they come of age, members of the Wenxing imperial bloodline can awaken a special ability and gain an entirely new clone.

And Si Zhao's new clone turns out to be a fire-breathing baby dragon.

To help his original body escape its predicament, Si Zhao sends his baby dragon clone out of the palace and begins the arduous work of recruiting troops and restoring the kingdom.

From then on, Prince Si Zhao idles away in the palace, while Baby Dragon Si Zhao diligently farms in the wilderness.

Prince Si Zhao languishes pitifully in the palace, while Baby Dragon Si Zhao raises a rebellion among the people.

The baby dragon rebels outside, while the prince gathers intelligence in the palace. Working together from within and without, Si Zhao provides himself with funds and information, and at last leads his followers in a successful assault on the palace.

Rebel leader: Hmph! Prince Si Zhao is weak and useless. Even if he's rescued, he'll be no threat!

Si Zhao's clone, now transformed into a giant dragon, smashes through the roof and looks down. "Are you talking about me?"

Theme: Face adversity bravely and keep moving forward, and you can work miracles.
