The God Says It Doesn't Want Me to Worship It

Programmer Lin Gu was working overtime until midnight when he impulsively clicked a pop-up ad and got dragged into a full-dive game called Absurd Island.

Three great gods rule this place: one forces you to write weekly reports to stay alive, another assigns you a greasy partner, and the last makes you post on social media to earn your freedom. It's a full-blown cyber sweatshop.

While everyone else gives in to despair, Lin Gu talks his way through the chaos and unexpectedly unlocks the hidden class [God of Complaining].

He rants his way out of pointless KPIs, shuts down awkward matchmaking chats, and uses his programmer's mindset to take the game rules apart down to the last detail.

Even stranger, the mysterious NPC Jiang Chi is always watching him from the shadows, his gaze as complicated as if he were hiding a decade-old secret.

Then Lin Gu discovers that the underlying code of this absurd world actually came from an unfinished project he and Jiang Chi worked on in college, before they went their separate ways...

When complaining becomes a weapon and bugs become opportunities, two souls who once fell out reunite amid the absurdity. This time, will they destroy the rules, or rewrite everything?
