After I Entered a Zombie School Novel

[A sweet little treat, short story]

Kan Le lived carefree for seventeen years, until a ball hit him one day and brought back his memories of a past life.

It turned out he had transmigrated into a romance TV drama adapted from a campus novel.

He hadn't read the novel or watched the show, but he'd seen clips. The handsome male lead and beautiful female lead made a lovely couple. The heroine's makeup was just a little too pale, though, like the face of a corpse that had been dead for three days.

Still, Kan Le thought the heroine was adorable. Who could resist a little ray of sunshine who warmed everyone's heart? His vague youthful crush had simply turned into love for a fictional girl.

It was hard to believe he'd actually dared to compete with the male lead for a girl when the guy was better at studying, better-looking, and from a better family than him!

How had he ever been so brave?

...Sorry, he hadn't.

And he decided to avoid the leads as much as possible from then on, disappear from their set, and do his best not to get caught up in their love and hate.

After all, the male lead was... way too lovesick. He didn't care if anyone else lived or died, and would even kiss the heroine in public. Kan Le was afraid of getting caught in the crossfire and hurting his eyes.

But...

But!

This wasn't right, was it?!

Why had the male lead started holding him and devouring him with kisses?!!
