Miby, the Man-Eating Lake [American Horror]

A short story inspired by Wolf Creek, The Hills Have Eyes, Eden Lake, and the like. It's not a spin-off, just using familiar horror-movie tropes...

This is a story set in 1999 in a remote town in Badal State. The area is full of lush forests and beautiful scenery, but there have been multiple serious crimes, including several disappearances.

Reporter Chris wants to break a major story, so he sets off with his timid younger brother, rebellious sister, unreliable buddy, and the girl who's just there in the background. He doesn't exactly have a choice.

He thinks the worst that could happen is finding nothing, but he never expects them to face the deadliest crisis of their lives...

The transmigrator is the top, but the other characters' perspectives also take up a lot of the story. There are two cases and two groups of people in total. Roy is the bottom.

Theme: Stay resolute and keep striving.
