An NPC's Life Matters Too

Lin Chunjun is an overworked wage slave. His job is to make sure that all the story worlds, big and small, that have collided with one another merge smoothly and advance to become real worlds.

He's 1.8 meters tall, muscular, and broad-faced with a scar on his cheek. He's the kind of minor villain and background character who advances the romance plot and gets written out after one episode.

Then he met a little life-support System that had escaped from the main System of a higher-dimensional world.

When data beings meet a System, it's like old friends meeting, tears streaming from their eyes.

Out of pity for a fellow data being, Lin Chunjun, who was face-blind, casually let the little System upgrade his model.

And just like that, the muscular thug was gone, replaced by an unparalleled beauty!

As Lin Chunjun carried on with his NPC career, he began to feel that something was off. Wait, I'm just a small-time thug, so why are you all looking at me so strangely?!

Everyone else: What small-time thug? With your looks, you must be a reclusive grandmaster!

The eerie creatures: Take out the grandmaster! This world will be ours in the end!

The little System: Host! I'll steal the main System's entire fortune to support you! Don't be afraid! (Pulls out gorgeous clothes.)

Central Control Data Collective: Get back to work, or this world will disappear, and so will you. Got it?

Lin Chunjun: Got it, boss. Leave the job to me. I'll kidnap the female lead tomorrow and stage the classic choose-one-of-two scenario.

The reborn female lead: Get the livestream equipment ready. I'll take you all out!

Wait, is the beauty really a kidnapper?

Theme: Bring love and peace to the world
