Narcissus-Loving Protagonist: A Collection of Stories

Unit 1:

Eighteen-year-old Xie Heng met his twenty-five-year-old self, who said he was from the future.

Xie Heng thought he'd come to save him.

But he put Ming Yun first at every turn, even making Xie Heng suffer for Ming Yun's sake.

Xie Heng didn't understand why.

His future self said he'd fall in love with Ming Yun, but because of everything unpleasant that had happened before, Ming Yun had never accepted him. He'd come back this time to change all that.

Xie Heng smiled.

His future self seemed to have forgotten that eighteen-year-old Xie Heng was a lunatic.

The twenty-five-year-old couldn't change a thing. Instead, he got himself dragged into the mess and ended up having to beg his eighteen-year-old self for mercy through tears.

Unit 2:

Yan Shangqing drove all the malice in his heart away in order to cultivate.

But he never expected that his malice would take shape and hate him with all its might, using his name to commit evil everywhere.

To get rid of it, he went looking for it.

But when the malice saw him, it went mad, grabbing him by the throat and demanding furiously, "Why is there still malice inside your body?"

It wouldn't allow it!

It wouldn't allow any malice other than itself to occupy Yan Shangqing's body.

Later, the malice, nearly falling apart, said, "Yan Shangqing, you shameless bastard!"

Why did Yan Shangqing's heart keep producing endless malice?

Because he was born a... villain.
