After barely managing to graduate, he looks at Gotham, a city where there's a fight every day, an explosion every three days, and black, unidentified creatures always flying overhead. There are no Alphas, only Betas. He feels as if he can see his own dark future.
Mu Lian is frightened to tears.

"...Waaah, where the heck did I end up? Is this still the Federation? Aren't you supposed to get a System when you transmigrate? Where's my System? Where's my golden finger? Waaah, this is kidnapping! Curse you, traffickers! I'm calling the cops on you! There's not even an Alpha here. How am I supposed to live like this? Waaah..."
Mu Lian, covered in soot after blowing up his own kitchen, crawls out of the wreckage. Looking at his shattered, borrowed home, he finally bursts into tears and wails, snot and tears streaming down his face.
As he wails, an Alpha wearing a tight-fitting suit, with a curvy figure, appears in front of him.
Mu Lian wipes his tears and stares blankly at the broad chest before him, unresponsive for a long moment.
