In his Nth year as a quick transmigration agent, Xingjian finally transfers from the Pseudo-God Department to the Roleplaying Department. His first job in the new department is to play a god.
Looking at the world he's been ordered to visit, along with the requirements to embody divinity while making the key characters believe he's still human by nature...
"Administrator, you!"
Hearing his partner, whom he parted from less than two hours ago, cursing him once more, Xingjian peacefully closes his eyes.
He resigns himself to returning to his old line of work, takes on his usual identity, and enters the time-travel passage.
But the place where he ends up...
Something seems wrong.
Xingjian, equipped only with the common language of the XX cultivation world, blinks at the island before him, where war rages everywhere.
Then he can't help blinking again.

In the end, wearing one of his most frequently used disguises, Xingjian waits on that island for three whole years before finally receiving the answer: "This won't affect your work. Continue roleplaying, and we'll double your pay."
"This is much better than pretending to be a charlatan in those cultivation worlds."
Xingjian is perfectly happy with this solution.
In a place where there's not a trace of spiritual energy... aren't cultivators basically gods?

[The Man Who Came from the Clouds
He was someone who often appeared in his dreams.
His cloudlike, misty robes billowed in the air, unfurling with the vastness of a long wind.
Within the robes took shape an ethereal, mysterious silhouette, sometimes pure white, sometimes touched with blue.
He thought it was only a phantom dream, a lovely fantasy of a celestial being, or perhaps the alluring fragrance of hell.
Until one day, the boy tore a book apart in his dream.
The next day, carried along by the surging river, he touched a blank page identical to the one he'd torn from the book in his dream.
Suddenly, he heard the sound of rain. He turned around and, just before the river swept him away, grabbed an old umbrella with all his might.
Then the clouds hanging high in the sky suddenly descended, spreading a captivating white across the river.
A shadow emerged from the mist, nodded, and smiled as it drew him out of the clouds and water.
"Long time no see."
"...Long time no see."

The clouds gather and disperse at will; their coming and going have no cause. Don't blame me for leaving so lightly; my life is not a tethered boat.]

[The Forgotten Fallen God
The Armed Detective Agency receives a strange request.
One day, a letter of commission suddenly appears before the great detective, asking them to save someone who has died.
It bears no signature, but the payment is a mountain of gold.
After overcoming countless obstacles, a certain new member of the agency, a young man who wears bandages, successfully finds the person who has died.
The pure white ghost wandering the world is pulled from the depths of a pool. When asked by the person said to be his "lover," he shakes his head in confusion.
"I don't know."
"I just miss someone very, very much, someone I can't remember."
