Luo Xinghe was once an apprentice deity in the divine realm, just about to get a permanent position as the God of Wealth. But a colleague reported him for faking his identity. Not only did he lose his chance at a permanent post, he was cast down to the mortal world, where he could only make a living by opening a bubble tea shop on the street.
Unfortunately, competition in this line of work was fierce, and he couldn't keep up.
Luckily, he had a face sculpted by Nuwa herself. He used the internet to make a living off his looks.
Unfortunately, that wasn't easy. He was a god, but he nearly worked himself to death and saw a ghost. He didn't actually die, but he really did see a ghost.
Bai Yichen said he was an employee of the underworld. Due to a job transfer, he needed to move to the surface and wanted to rent Luo Xinghe's bubble tea shop as his workplace. In exchange, he would work for Luo Xinghe and ease his workload.
Luo Xinghe looked at that face, which inexplicably appealed to him, and agreed.
The next day, the whole internet exploded again.
"There are actually two faces this handsome!!"
The bubble tea shops nearby were devastated. "What kind of business warfare is this?!"
Luo Xinghe was a little devastated himself. "Weren't you supposed to work for me? What do you mean by kissing me??"
Looking at the apprentice in his arms, who was bristling with anger, Bai Yichen said with complete confidence, "I'm your master. I've raised you for all these years. Am I not allowed to kiss you?"
"?"
He's been alone since he could remember. Where did this master come from?
