I Faked My Death and Returned to Find My Ex, the Movie Queen, Going Crazy Over Me

Down-on-her-luck heiress (top) x obsessive actress (bottom), four-year age gap, younger top, 1v1, happy ending

The socialite who once pursued her so publicly that all of Hong Kong knew, but now just wants to disappear x the actress who once felt helpless under all that attention, but now has her trapped and won't let her leave

1.

At the height of the Rong family's power, Rong Yanzhi was Hong Kong's most flamboyant heiress.

She liked Zhong Yuwei, so she pursued her openly, making sure everyone knew.

She gave her opportunities, shielded her from drunken business dinners, and waited outside the set every day. No matter how coldly Zhong Yuwei turned her down, she refused to stop.

Everyone in the industry knew Zhong Yuwei was the woman Miss Rong could never have. They also knew she detested Rong Yanzhi more than anyone.

Later, the Rong family collapsed, and Rong Yanzhi died in the turmoil.

Everyone said Zhong Yuwei was finally free.

2.

Three years later, Zhong Yuwei had become an untouchable Best Actress.

She was distant and difficult to approach, and her power grew by the day. No one dared provoke her anymore.

Once, a reckless reporter brought up the old story about Rong Yanzhi during an interview. The next day, the interview had vanished from the internet, and the reporter never appeared before Zhong Yuwei again.

Everyone said the thing Actress Zhong most wanted to erase was the humiliation of having once been pursued like a caged bird.

3.

No one knew that Rong Yanzhi had quietly returned to Hong Kong under an assumed identity.

On the night she finished her business and was preparing to leave, she discovered that every escape route had been blocked.

Someone pushed open the door of the cheap hotel room from outside.

Zhong Yuwei stood in the doorway, dressed in black.

"Rong Yanzhi."

She looked at the woman who had been "dead" for three years.

"You actually dared to come back?"
