Little Book Cat Goes on a Spring Outing

When spring had just arrived,

the breeze was still a little chilly.

Little Book Cat, who had spotted spring,

took his mother's hand

and invited her to go on a spring outing with him.

They walked through old, narrow alleys

to see the little flowers growing between the bricks, the fresh willows by the river,

and the swallows flying low overhead.

They chased petals that were also out enjoying the spring,

searching for the traces of spring hidden in the corners of the little town.

It was an ordinary yet heartwarming springtime.

For the first time, Little Book Cat realized

that spring wasn't only somewhere far away.

It quietly followed people

all the way back home.
