A Gift from the Dark

Child of the night,

please don't be afraid.

Gently close your eyes.

You don't have to do a thing.

This is a beautiful dream just for you,

a gift the night has brought you.

Drift off with a sweet smile.

Your peaceful sleep

is the gentlest answer you can give him.
