Never Fall in Love with Your Boss

The bottom is an overworked Earthling who wakes up in an ABO world. To survive, he gets a job and keeps dutifully working like a beast of burden.

His boss is a top-tier alpha from a prominent family: an elite, aloof, and impossibly fussy man who's hard to please.

With his family pressuring him to marry, the boss summons the bottom and presents him with a dating contract.

The top hates having his emotions controlled by pheromones and refuses to marry an omega. Dating a beta like the bottom would help him deal with his family. Besides, the bottom is dedicated to his work and knows his place, so he clearly won't get any inappropriate ideas.

Seeing the astronomical payment in the contract, the bottom is shamefully tempted. Since he's from Earth, he can pretend to be a beta with no pheromones.

Then, at a cocktail party, his pheromones suddenly spill out in front of the top, and he goes into heat.

The bottom: Wait, can this ABO world even turn aliens into omegas?

The bad news: the bottom has differentiated into an omega.

The good news: his differentiation is unusual. He can't be marked or controlled by pheromones.

And yet...

His aloof boss pins him down and bites the back of his neck, then looks up with red eyes and asks in frustration, "Why can't I mark you?"
