Ning Xin thinks she can put up with it a little longer. She diligently does her job as his secretary and bears with all of Xie Yanyu's nitpicking.

After a morning meeting one day, Xie Yanyu shut the conference-room door once everyone else had left. His tone was haughty. "No one makes such a basic mistake."

That night, the bed sank beneath them.

Ning Xin imitated Xie Yanyu's tone. "Have you never made a basic mistake, Mr. Xie? You always go at it like a battering ram, with absolutely no technique. I've never met a man with worse skills than you."

Someone in the socialite circles took a photo of Xie Yanyu out by Pearl Harbor at night with another person. Everyone began to speculate that he was married, and people kept making appointments with Ning Xin to fish for information.

One day, a socialite came to Ning Xin for the scoop. "Is Mr. Xie really married?"

Ning Xin glanced at the closed office door and was just about to answer when it opened. Xie Yanyu stood in the doorway, frowning. "Secretary Ning, come in."

After seeing the socialite out, Ning Xin had barely stepped into the office when a large hand pulled her over.

She placed her hand on his shoulder. "Didn't you say we shouldn't discuss personal matters at work, Mr. Xie?"

Pinned against the door, Ning Xin's eyelashes trembled slightly.

Xie Yanyu lowered his head. "Secretary Ning, are you sure you still want to talk business with me?"

Ning Xin tugged on his tie. "Does that one hour and one minute in your office last Friday count as business too, Mr. Xie?"
