Modern Alchemist

Xu Shiye doesn't know whether his luck is good or bad.

If his luck is good, then how do you explain that at twenty-three, he has 23 million in family debt, a sick mother, and a younger sister still in school, and is about to accept his fate and become a male escort?

But if his luck is bad, how did he happen to come across a funny video online titled “The Essential Spirit-Gathering Art for Beginning Cultivators”? He follows along, makes a couple of hand seals, and the clothes on the wealthy sponsor beside him suddenly catch fire...

(The title and blurb may both change later~)
