● Sci-fi, sweet romance
Blurb:
Luo Xiaowu is an orphan from a desolate planet. She was adrift from the moment she was born and survived by scavenging.
One day, she found a gravely injured, unconscious woman in a borderland junkyard. The more she looked at her, the more she seemed like Luo Xiaowu's future wife. So Luo Xiaowu cheerfully carried her home and nursed her back to health, completely unaware that the entire galaxy was in an uproar over the disappearance of Lu Qingyan, a federal general who had risen to the top at a young age and held the star regions in her grasp.
After getting a wife, Luo Xiaowu worked even harder at scavenging, hauling things to the recycling depot every day.
The people there grew curious. "Why have you been coming so often lately?"
Luo Xiaowu grinned as she pocketed the star coins she'd just earned. "I'm saving up to buy my wife high-grade nutrient liquid."
"Oh, you eat cheap nutrient paste yourself but buy your wife the high-grade stuff. How thoughtful."
"Hehe."
Two star-months later, after recovering from her injuries, Lu Qingyan left.
Luo Xiaowu thought she'd been abandoned. Heartbroken, she drank all the nutrient liquid she'd prepared for Lu Qingyan, enough to last three star-days, and landed herself in a borderland medical station.
The medical station was run-down. The woman sitting by her bed was elegant and distinguished. She even removed her glove to touch Luo Xiaowu's forehead. "Are you still feeling sick?"
"Yes, I feel awful. No, wait..." Luo Xiaowu was a little confused. She didn't like some outsider touching the forehead that belonged exclusively to her wife, so she put on a cold expression. "Who are you?"
The woman lowered her hand and raised an elegant brow. "You don't recognize me after only five star-days apart?"
"...You look a little familiar."
"Adjutant Chen."
"Yes." Lu Qingyan's adjutant cleared her throat. "This is Federal General Lu Qingyan..."
Luo Xiaowu: "Gasp!" A very important person!
"And also..."
"Also?!"
"Your exclusive partner."
"...Huh? Wait, what? Am I even worthy?? I already have a wife, okay??? I was only abandoned by her. I never planned on falling for someone else!!!"
Luo Xiaowu ran away in fright.
The entire star region was in an uproar once more.
Lu Qingyan, the federal general who had risen to the top at a young age and held the star regions in her grasp, began searching the whole galaxy for her wife.
