The Cat Decides to Give the Fish a Home

As someone who's afraid of cats and dogs, Zhao Yu has spent all twenty-three years of her life being challenged by the cats and dogs she sees everywhere in human society.

Though she's always the one who waves the white flag.

The world still chases her down, refusing to spare her just because she surrendered. Instead, it comes charging right at her.

"Could the next storm be any more violent?" She really wants to get on her knees and beg the world to stop. When a storm in a coastal city turns into a typhoon, it can blow her house down to the bare walls.

When she was little, she did dream of transforming into a magical girl, making a dazzling entrance, and defeating the big bad to save the world...

Well, actually, she did save a cat that had fallen into the water.

She was that cat's whole world.

Come to think of it, maybe those online posts about cats saving the world aren't totally wrong...

For the first time, Zhao Yu, a woman afraid of cats and dogs, didn't wave the white flag when a cat appeared in her world.
