A note beforehand:
I love cultivation stories in the "fantasy romance" genre, where the characters train, fight monsters, and level up. But hardly anyone writes them anymore. I can only reread old stories, and since I want something new, I'll have to write one myself. I can't promise it'll be exciting; this is just a story written for my own enjoyment.
If that sounds fine, then: go!
Ling Qianyuan VS Jun Chongye
A cheerful, lively, shameless genius little sun VS a wicked Demon King who loves seeing the heroine make a fool of herself
Blurb:
Ling Qianyuan, fifteen years old,
a university student about to graduate,
attends Imperial Academy, the No. 1 school on the Starshine Nine Provinces Continent.
They don't do graduation theses there. They do graduation assignments.
After Ling Qianyuan, the ultimate sucker, went through untold hardships to finish hers, the unlucky girl had it judged unsatisfactory by the principal.
The reason? Her assignment was missing an item, and she had to go to another world to retrieve it,
which is commonly known as transmigration.
tell me why?
Who came up with a graduation assignment that involves fantasy settings?
She might as well have written a graduation thesis.
Heavens know, all she wanted was to graduate!
Why is it so hard to get a diploma these days!?
So, in order to graduate, Ling Qianyuan "voluntarily" embarked on a journey of cultivation and leveling up, while also saving another world along the way.
This is really an otherworldly monster-fighting, adventure, and leveling-up story, half road trip and half travelogue, wrapped in the trappings of a fantasy cultivation novel.
Before You Read / Content Warnings:
1. Extremely, extremely long.
2. The male lead is so old that his age cannot be calculated. Just know that he looks to be in his early twenties. His name is Jun Chongye; the middle character is pronounced "chong."
3. Strictly speaking, neither lead is entirely human, though you can think of them as human if you like. There's not much difference.
4. The heroine transmigrates in her own body, and both her body and mind are fifteen. There are one and a half chapters in which she is underage. For special reasons, she falls into a coma for three years after transmigrating. By the start of the main story, she is already an adult.
5. The plot-to-romance ratio is about eight to two, and the romance is concentrated almost entirely in the later part. There is virtually none in the early and middle parts.
6. The only guarantees on the romance front are that the male and female leads are each other's first and only, and that it is a one-on-one pairing. For the other supporting characters, I can only guarantee heterosexual pairings; anything else is hard to say.
7. This story is pure imagination, written according to the author's preferences. Don't worry about whether the power system makes sense or is consistent, and you don't need to memorize the ranks. They'll be explained in the story.
Theme: The road of life leads upward.
