[Desperately seeking favorites -3- Help make this story happen]
When Heaven and Earth first came into being, seven Creator Gods sought to restore order to the world. They made themselves vessels and sealed seven ancient, indelible sins in a formation, but became Fallen Gods as a result.
In recent years, the gods have shown signs of succumbing to demonic corruption. With no other choice, the Divine Realm has brought out the Godslaying Pill, hoping to dispel the Fallen Gods and eliminate the threat once and for all.
But the seven Fallen Gods are connected to Heaven and Earth. The spiritual energy of gods and cultivators makes them impossible to approach, so Fang Li, the least powerful immortal in the entire Divine Realm, is pushed forward to take on the task of slaying them.
Fang Li (pointing at herself): "Me?"
Fang Li was born as a fruit of immortality. Even after taking human form, she was still an inconspicuous little fairy maid, the kind who stood at the very edge of the Peach Banquet to serve others.
But she had no interest in cultivating immortality. She loved reading stories about the mortal world and wanted the most ordinary life a mortal could have. So she made a deal with the Divine Emperor: once this was over, he would let her descend to the mortal realm.
She nervously sneaked into the formation, only to discover that the gods were kind by nature. They were simply controlled by these evil sins and unable to resist.
After spending time together, Fang Li unexpectedly managed to cleanse them of their demonic energy. The Fallen Gods were purified, returned to the divine altar, and once again became the radiant, revered Creator Gods worshipped by all the immortals.
Having accomplished a great deed of immeasurable merit, Fang Li happily returned the Godslaying Pill, packed her little bundle, and headed for the Immortal Descent Platform. But before she could enjoy even two days of happiness, a familiar man knocked on the wooden door of her little courtyard in the mortal realm.
He was tall, and his voice was gentle yet inexplicably ominous. "A Li, didn't you promise in the formation that you'd stay with me for the rest of your life?"
Fang Li backed away in terror, only to bump into another warm, solid chest.
The man took the opportunity to wrap his arms around her. His voice sounded like a ghost whispering in her ear. "...No matter where you leave me, I'll find you, A Li."
She struggled free and fled frantically around the courtyard, only to find the seven gods, dressed in splendid robes, blocking the entrance without giving her a chance.
Seeing the excessively lovestruck expressions on their usually composed faces, Fang Li wanted to cry.
What was going on? Hadn't she cleansed the demonic energy that caused them to fall?
*
1. No single male lead, no choosing a love interest, and the heroine isn't a powerhouse.
2. While Fallen Gods, the male leads each embodied one of the Seven Deadly Sins: pride, envy, wrath, sloth, greed, gluttony, and lust.
3. Romance-focused, no suffering for the heroine. She has absolute control over the relationship, and all the male leads are sexually inexperienced.
4. The male leads are all old hands (not really). They know that building a happy life together as a big family matters more than anything. A little rivalry, and they'll work together to win her back.
Theme: Keep a level head, and happiness will come.
