2026/8/12: I wrote the opening part as a short story and impulsively submitted it to a studio without knowing my limits. They rejected it, so I'll have to think about whether to publish it. If I do, I'll need to add tens of thousands of words covering the other perspectives. Sigh. (Though maybe I'll publish it without adding anything.)
2026/10/4: It's been almost two months since I submitted it, so I guess it didn't get accepted ੯‧̀͡⬮. I'll start my other story first, then think about how to add the other perspectives to this one and post it later. (Or maybe I'll get lazy and publish it without adding anything.) No idea when.
