After the CEO Lost His Memory, He Mistook Me for His Substitute

A car accident ruined a lavish wedding that had taken the whole city by storm.

Gu Chen, one half of the newlywed couple, was practically on the verge of a breakdown.

The wedding could always be held again.

But how was anyone supposed to go on when the man he had loved for eight years hit his head, then suddenly went damn well and lost his memory?

If Wen Zheng had forgotten him completely, that would be easy enough: Gu Chen could just court him all over again.

But as it happened, Wen Zheng remembered pursuing a cold, aloof young master named Gu Chen, with such earth-shaking fervor that even after three years, he still hadn't won him over...

And so, in the eyes of this witless fool, the real Gu Chen had somehow become a shameless substitute.

On the day Wen Zheng was discharged, Gu Chen made his favorite pork rib soup.

Wen Zheng swept his hand across the table, knocking over the bowl. A mocking smile curled his lips.

"Still not admitting you're a substitute? You'll do anything to cling to my side, even throw away your dignity?"

The scalding soup burned a string of blisters into the back of Gu Chen's fair hand.

Wen Zheng saw it. He knew he shouldn't, but he couldn't help feeling sorry for this substitute, and even wanted to pull him into his arms and comfort him.

Who would have thought Gu Chen would endure the pain and say, as calmly as if nothing had happened,

"I admit it. I really am a substitute. But I already have someone I love, so don't flatter yourself, Mr. Wen."

Wen Zheng: "...?"

Hah. This scheming substitute was actually playing hard to get. He must be madly in love with me.
