The Contractual Mark

Zuo Chenying, the unattainable dream of every Omega, is the object of everyone's fantasies: a handsome, powerful, single Alpha CEO at the peak of his game.

Then he suddenly develops a severe need to be marked.

The day his diagnosis came in, his attending physician told him with a grave expression:

"Mr. Zuo, your condition... will flare up every month. If you aren't marked in time, the severe need will cause organ failure and eventually put your life in danger."

In other words, no mark, no life.

Zuo Chenying had no choice but to find a reliable Omega and arrange a contractual marking.

He thought his attending doctor, Pei Xia, seemed pretty reliable.

Dr. Pei: "No, you've got it wrong. I'm not reliable at all. I left a scalpel inside a patient yesterday, and the day before that, I accidentally gave a diabetic patient a huge meal full of carbs."

Zuo Chenying: "..."

But later, with his medical conscience clouded by desire, Pei Xia still accepted Zuo Chenying's contract.

They laid down three rules and agreed it would be a mutually beneficial arrangement, with neither of them catching feelings.

Later on...

"Zuo Chenying, if you're going to mark me, fine, but could you stop kissing me all the time?"

"No."

"Do you have any respect for contracts? We agreed not to catch feelings!"

"Right, my feelings haven't changed, but my heart has."
