The gong is ten years older. There's a little bit of a groveling arc, but no melodrama. The two simply weren't on the same wavelength.

The gong is a virgin, the shou isn't. The shou also sleeps with others before they confess their feelings, so don't read if that's not for you.

The gong is an older man who's been single for a long time.

The shou has skin hunger and that illness that cannot be named.
