It's about men loving men, but you could also see it as an ensemble story where there are straight couples, too, and they get just as much page time as the gay couples...

Here, you can find pseudo-sibling incestuous undertones, where brothers can also be husbands.

Here, you can find an older man trying to look young (in a good way), and a refined scoundrel who thinks he's fallen for a young, innocent beauty.
