The Imperial General Went Mad with Regret After I Had My Glands Removed

Three years later, they meet again. He Ci, the mighty Imperial general, corners the Omega selling cheap, low-quality suppressants in a dark alley in the seedy district.

Eyes red, he pins him against the wall with a forcefulness that borders on pleading.

"Come back with me. I'll repay every last thing I owe you from back then."

Ruan Chi doesn't struggle. He simply turns his head calmly and lets his oversized old coat slip off, revealing the grotesque, twisted, bloodied hole at the back of his neck.

"Commander He," he says, smiling without a trace of emotion at the man whose face has gone deathly pale.

"Didn't you personally order my gland removed three years ago?"

"This body's completely ruined now. What could you possibly give me as compensation?"
