After graduating from university, Xu Yuan wanted to get ahead. After repeatedly failing the civil service exam, she finally went crazy and was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder.
Something speaks inside her head, but none of you can see him.
Xu Yuan went to the hospital for a follow-up, only to be dragged into a paranormal incident and awaken a special ability.
As long as she falls asleep, she can bend the world to her will, creating things from nothing with a mere thought.
Special Department: You resolved a Class A paranormal incident. We'd like to invite you to join our department.
Xu Yuan: More work for less pay? Even a dog wouldn't go.
Special Department: It's a civil service position.
Xu Yuan: I'm in! The Special Department is exactly where I want to be.
So what if it pays less? It's a secure job with a civil service position, social insurance, and six types of benefits.
A supernatural incident breaks out, and the entire Special Investigation Bureau is mobilized. Some people play with fire at their fingertips; others conjure ice.
Meanwhile, Xu Yuan curls up, hugs her whole body, lies down on the ground, and falls asleep.
Everyone: We're risking our lives while this person sleeps on the battlefield. Is that really okay?
Xu Yuan: The sky is my blanket, the ground is my bed. When I sleep, I'm fighting.
Teammate A: Your bed has come to life.
Teammate B: Your bed comes and beats us up in the middle of the night.
Teammate C: Your bed is standing right behind you.
Xu Yuan turned around and saw a man embracing her from behind. Furious, she snapped, "Don't talk nonsense. He's just my second personality, split off by my disorder."
Her teammates went pale as the "second personality," in a spot Xu Yuan couldn't see, gave them a taunting smile.
Second Personality: Keep running your mouths and I'll kill you.
I am Xu Yuan's shadow, her lover, her friend, her family, her coworker, her body...
I am everything to Xu Yuan.
