A world-conquering human weapon x a beautiful zombie king, cold on the outside and warm within
Gui Ling is a zombie, currently doing his best to pass as a human high school student.
But when he wakes up one day, the apocalypse has arrived and the zombie crisis has broken out. Now it is humanity that must learn to fight its way through hordes of zombies.
Gui Ling: Thanks for asking. I have no plans to kill myself just yet.
With the gaokao abruptly changed to a test of surviving until graduation, Gui Ling looks at the empty desk beside him:
Where's my deskmate? Did something eat his brains on the way to school?

Kuang Ye bursts into the classroom and hauls Gui Ling, fast asleep, to his feet.
He grips the other's chin and studies that exquisitely beautiful, pale face for a moment before declaring without hesitation:
"This is my zombie partner!"
He tries to pass himself off as the first human in the world to coexist with a zombie.
Gui Ling sighs. Watching his deskmate's eyes sparkle, he kicks off the head of a zombie lunging at them, splattering blood all over Kuang Ye's face in an attempt to scare him away.
Kuang Ye wipes the blood from his face, the corners of his mouth lifting. "Not bad. I want you."
Gui Ling: Damn, this guy's crazy.

"Kuang Ye, what do you want?" Gui Ling asks.
The handsome young man kneels on one knee and lifts his hand, rubbing his bloodstained face against it with a look of adoration. Bones lie beneath his feet.
"My king, I am your blade. I want nothing else."
"All right." Gui Ling smiles, letting Kuang Ye kiss his fingertips.
"Then I order you to kill yourself."
