A year later, Zhiqiu returned home from out of town and saw Zhiqia's youthful, adorable face.

She took off her mask, put it on Zhiqia, and kissed her.
Afterward, Zhiqia wiped her tear-streaked face with one hand. Zhiqiu kissed the tears from the corners of her eyes. "Sweet."
After Zhiqiu left, Zhiqia raised an eyebrow and smiled, her expression full of scorn. "Hah. So easy to fool."

"Zhiqia! So you've been lying to me all these years!" Zhiqiu shouted at the top of her lungs.
"So my archenemy was right beside me all this time, someone closest to me..." Zhiqiu swallowed, hot tears slipping from the corners of her eyes. "Yu Wan Hang..."
Zhiqiu knelt on the ground in a wretched state. Yu Wan Hang stood over her with an upturned smile.
"What a shame. I wanted to spend more time with you." Yu Wan Hang looked down at Zhiqiu, who was in disarray. Mockingly, she lifted Zhiqiu's chin with a dagger and stared into her bloodshot eyes.
Those eyes no longer held the gentle warmth they once had. Now, they held only hatred and disgust for a sworn enemy.
Yu Wan Hang found it amusing. "Thank you for taking care of me all these years, Sis."

Six years later, at a grand gathering of assassins in the capital.
The haughty assassin sat in the most concealed corner.
"Boss, we've found her. She'll be here tonight."
A man bowed and knelt on one knee, offering her the information he'd gathered.
The woman took the file and studied the photo with interest, murmuring, "Six years. It's been so long, and you're already in your thirties. You've gotten older, so why haven't you changed your face?"
Outside the window, unseen by the woman, stood the person in the photograph.
"Yu Wan Hang. It's been years, but you're still the same as ever. Disgusting."
No matter how much time passed, no matter how much they loathed each other, the saying still rang true.
"Enemies in love at last reunite, six years later to spend the rest of their lives together."
Zhiqiu realized that once you'd loved someone, you could never truly forget them.
She admitted it: she still loved that assassin.
