Nancheng No. 1 High has a boy like this:

A school bully who skips class, shows up late, gets into fights, and never wears his uniform. He always wears a black T-shirt, ripped jeans, and black sneakers.

At Nancheng No. 1 High, all the teachers and students agree that he is just "wasting his days."

Strangely enough, this hopeless delinquent is actually the top student in the entire school?! Everyone is shocked by it.

After an accident, he makes an exception and becomes Class 3's study representative.

"Damn it. Now I have to collect homework too? Are they trying to kill me?"

While carrying a stack of homework, he meets Lu Xun.

Nancheng No. 1 High puts academics first, and Lu Xun is the school's one and only athletic prospect.

His grades are "terrible." Yet he is treated completely differently from Shen Yan. In fact, it's the exact opposite.

Shen Yan gets good grades but is a real delinquent. Apart from fighting, he has no particular talents, and teachers and students alike curse and despise him. Lu Xun has terrible grades and is just as much of a delinquent, but he's an incredible basketball player, the school's only athletic prospect. So teachers and students adore and admire him.

Lu Xun noticed the loose hair on his forehead and reached out to brush it aside, worried it might poke him in the eye. But Shen Yan grabbed his hand.

It was an extraordinarily feminine hand, pale and slender, nothing like a man's.

A thought drifted through Lu Xun's mind: Could Shen Yan be a girl pretending to be a boy?

It was scorching hot on sports day.

Shen Yan was forced to sign up for the 3,000-meter race.

At 800 meters, Shen Yan reassured himself: It's fine. I should be able to manage 3,000 meters...

At 1,500 meters, he told himself: I'm halfway there. Just keep going...

At 2,000 meters, Shen Yan gritted his teeth and kept reassuring himself: Hang in there. Just 1,000 meters left...

At 2,500 meters, his head spun and the world swayed with him. His vision blurred, and through the haze, he heard a thud as he fell to the ground.

He faintly heard Lu Xun's voice. "Shen Yan! Shen Yan! Don't fall asleep, keep going!"

After hearing that, he finally relaxed and passed out.

Physics class in the afternoon was Shen Yan's least favorite.

His homeroom teacher went on and on all day, and Shen Yan couldn't even sleep in peace.

He covered his ears and managed to sleep for a few minutes.

"Bang!" Someone kicked open the classroom door.

Shen Yan didn't want to pay attention, but he had no choice but to look up.

"Shen Yan! Get your ass over here!"

Was that guy calling his name?

He looked up and saw a man who was dead drunk.

Shen Yan's pupils suddenly widened. That man was his father, the one who had once tried to kill him...

Later:

-A grand banquet in the capital.

"Congratulations, Mr. Shen. What a wonderful opportunity you've landed." The speaker was Gu Chuan, a former schoolmate from his high school.

"Thank you." Shen Yan smiled, raised his glass, and clinked it against Gu Chuan's before downing the red wine.

As he set down his glass, his eyes accidentally landed on someone: the person he never wanted to see again in his life.

Lu Xun, what was he doing here?

If Shen Yan were a homeless little bird, Lu Xun would be willing to become his sturdy, warm nest, holding him close in his arms and never letting go.

3. The uke is a little delinquent, but strangely enough, he's excellent at studying (there are people in the world who get good grades without studying). The seme is an amazing basketball player early on, and originally planned to become a basketball club coach, but later starts a business to find the uke and gives up on his dream. He believes in love.

4. If you don't like second-chance romances, please don't read this.
