Everyone Turns Evil, but I'm the Saint

[Opening at 2,000 follows]

Ten years after the paranormal arrived, the entire world had turned dark. Families had fallen apart, society had stopped functioning, all trust had been shattered, and emotions had become a tool for survival.

Chu Linxi was the sweet, naive, universally adored protagonist in the CEO romance novel Sweetheart. After transmigrating, he became a weak F-rank nobody, forced into an infinite game.

From the start, a ghost infant burrowed into Chu Linxi's belly. He was destined to become a nest for the rapidly developing fetus, which would tear him open and leave him to bleed to death.

The cool, handsome youth lay on the operating table, his eyes red-rimmed and his legs spread. His belly swelled larger and larger, and fluids trickled onto the floor.

The doctor demanded an outrageous 500 points to help Chu Linxi kill the ghost fetus.

Chu Linxi grabbed the doctor's hand and pleaded earnestly, "Points aren't a problem. Please help me deliver the baby."

His gaze was gentle as he softly stroked his belly. "How could I kill it? This is my first child!"

The comments: "???"

The hideous ghost infant, wreathed in sinister energy, was born. The viewers expected the baby to tear Chu Linxi apart and consume him as nourishment.

Chu Linxi bent down and kissed the ghost infant's face, which was slick with black fluid. "My darling baby."

His bright eyes brimmed with love.

The ghost let out a wail. Its dark aura vanished, revealing a sweet, pale little face. With one tiny hand clenching in the air, it turned every monster in the instance to ash.

Later, Chu Linxi repeatedly sacrificed himself, using death to advance the missions and love to win over the monsters.
