A friend said that if you want to find out whether it's true love, you have to go on a true-love trip!
Moli thought that made sense, so she and her boyfriend agreed to take time off and travel for their first anniversary.
But who could have guessed that the two of them would fall out on the second day after landing? Moli angrily tapped her phone, frantically searching for cheap last-minute flights.
She couldn't find a suitable ticket, but strange things kept happening.
The takeout she'd ordered that morning still hadn't arrived two hours later, even though the app showed the courier right outside her door.
Strange noises came from the corridor now and then, like a person's roar or a snake slithering along.
A woman knocked on the door, crying for help, but when Moli opened it, she lunged straight at her...
One bizarre thing after another terrified Moli. Forgetting the awkwardness of their recent breakup, she hurriedly asked her ex-boyfriend for help.
But then...
He calmly said, "Moli, I think we broke up last night."
Bonus scene:
Someone had violently torn open the cheese Moli bought yesterday. Every piece had a bite taken out of it, and the floor was a mess.
Moli kicked her sleeping boyfriend. "You jerk! So what if you're my ex now? Did you really have to get back at me? You can take revenge if you want, but wasting snacks is unforgivable!"
Wen Fang didn't even open his eyes. He rolled over and said, "It wasn't me."
"If it wasn't you, then who was it?"
As soon as Moli said it, she caught sight of a pair of twintails as big as slippers from the corner of her eye. Her scream pierced the heavens.
Cowering in the corner, Moli watched Wen Fang deal with several giant twintails. At last, he picked one up and approached her with a wicked grin.
"Do you think a cockroach this big eats human flesh?"
"Wen Fang, you'll protect me, right?"
Wen Fang easily killed the mutated cockroach, slowly wiped his hands clean, then turned to smile at her. "I'd like to, but an ex-boyfriend has no obligation to protect his ex-girlfriend."
Moli quickly changed her tune. "No, that's not it. You're not my ex-boyfriend. You're my boyfriend."
Wen Fang made a cupping gesture behind his ear. "What was that? I couldn't hear you."
"I said you're my boyfriend."
"Say it again."
