Bruce has cherished and raised Cyrus ever since he was a baby, holding him in the palm of his hand. To keep him safe and carefree, Bruce has always hidden his identity as Batman, hoping Cyrus can grow up pure-hearted, kind, happy, and carefree.
Then one day, Bruce suddenly realizes that, at some point, his little boy seems to have lost his human emotions and developed a few strange abilities Bruce knows nothing about.
Bat Meow Head: I can't believe it. Better take another look.
Firelight illuminates half the sky. The building stands silent amid the ashes. The boy stands in the wreckage, his gaze so calm it's almost indifferent. The noise and cries for help around him seem unable to reach his world.
Bruce arrives in a hurry and sees this very scene, confirming beyond doubt the suspicion he least wanted to be true.
Cyrus's emotions begin to disappear little by little when he is five. Gradually, he can no longer feel the happiness, sadness, fear, and other emotions ordinary people experience. Only when he is with his family can a faint ripple stir in his heart. As his emotions continue to fade, the power sealed inside him gradually awakens. By the time he comes of age, he has completely lost every human emotion, and his power has fully awakened.
He has never told Bruce about the strange changes in him, because he doesn't want his father to worry. So in front of his family, he always pretends to be normal, hiding all the anomalies on his own.
Reader notes:
No pairings throughout.
The timeline will be adjusted to fit the novel.
If the characters seem out of character, it's because of author-created headcanon.
My next story is coming soon. If you're interested, please add it to your favorites.
[Western Crossover] A Nonhuman in Gotham
Theme: Build it with love.
They say Bruce likes to pick up children who are ready to go out and become vigilantes as soon as they come home. Well, here comes a baby 😏
Blindly guessing that Luthor was the mastermind, he must be the one who is so determined to make Superman.
Does the protagonist have Kryptonian ancestry? 😏
In fact, I had the feeling after reading the first chapter that the author is a newbie? The writing style, feeling, and plot connection are all very obvious, especially for me, who often watches British and American TV dramas, the OOC characters can still be seen, but it is still good, at least much better than when I first wrote the article 🤩
Three years old or five years old? [Picking the brain][question mark]
Damn it, I finally met the old bat 😍 😍 😍
Cyrus: My dad can open his mouth 😳
Hart looked warm. . . 🐰
Looking forward to it!!! Old bat in this world: No hehehe
Such a big sweetheart, there are no such big babies~
