After four and a half years dead, Hanyu Hisashi was brought back to life and given a mission and an ability.

The first thing he saw after opening his eyes was the main character jumping off a building.

Without hesitation, Hanyu Hisashi used his newly acquired ability and shoved the “main character” hard.

As expected, Dazai, the leader of the Port Mafia, fell from the high-rise.

But even as he plunged toward the death he’d long dreamed of, he couldn’t help wondering about the butterfly wings beating outside his plans.

Falling, darkness, death.

When he opened his eyes again, a young man with emerald-green eyes was lifting him from a pool of blood.

“Welcome back.”

The blood-soaked bandages were unwound, and blood with a metallic tang was smeared across his pale lips, vivid crimson against his skin.

“Shh. Please, get some rest.”

Hanyu Hisashi thought that was the end of it. But...

Again and again, Hanyu Hisashi killed Dazai with his own hands. Countless times, he gazed at the vivid warmth of blood on his palms, the soft black hair damp with blood, the nearly feverish smile beneath that pallid face, and those brown eyes, sweet as honey and deadly as poison, hiding a mischievous glint.

His mind had been pushed to its limit. Like a violin string stretched taut and ready to snap, Hanyu Hisashi could no longer bring himself to smile.

“Sir, you can’t leave me.”

The soft black-haired young man spoke in a gentle, quiet voice, filled with tender longing, like white cotton soaked in a colorless, odorless poison.

“Without you, I really would have died. So...”

“Please keep a close eye on me.”

You: How did you two fall in love?

Dazai: Fall in love? As if. We were just using each other. Isn’t that right, sir?

Hanyu Hisashi looked at him disapprovingly.

Dazai: Fine, fine. I made the first move, all right? Sir, that look on your face is so erotic, I can’t help...

Hanyu Hisashi clapped a hand over his mouth.

Back home, the old-fashioned one pointedly lectured the cat, but the cat licked its lips and leaned in.

“Come on, words aren’t enough. Show me.”

The cat got what it deserved.

* Hanyu Hisashi has skin hunger and likes cuddling, but this barely features in the main story. It’s purely the author’s kink.

* There’s mind control, a creepy obsessive ghostly man, faux coercion, and faux marking, but it has a happy ending.

Damn it! Even in cat form, he’s still a true deity! How did someone just scoop him up and take him home?

And he has tentacles! Can’t this person see them?

Suspecting an invasion by an Outer Deity, Cat Klein decides to stick around and observe...

Your cat doesn’t seem happy. It keeps telling you, “Meow, meow,” that it bears the responsibility of saving the world.

But it’s only a cat, even if it does have tentacles.

To help the cat live carefree, you decide to do something...

For example, turn back time.

For example, make all those noisy followers wandering outside the barrier disappear.

The main story is told in third person from Klein’s perspective, with some chapters in second person from the male lead’s perspective.

I want to write a cute, funny story, but I’m not especially good at comedy, so it may have a high concentration of deadpan jokes.

The timeline is after Klein becomes a god. The main plot is about saving the world while turning back time to make up for past regrets.

Only draws on Lord of the Mysteries, with no Circle of Inevitability content.
