You wander beyond the boundary, where you have a "Book Domain" of your own. You observe the stories in every "book" and one day decide to enter one and take a look.
So you choose your favorite "book."
That decision gets you a wife.
To blend into the book, you invent an identity for yourself and seal away your memories of the world beyond.
You want to live as an "ordinary person," but at the entrance you find a round, chubby black cat.
"A cat?"
You take the cat home. It seems eager to come with you, meowing "Mrowww," "Mew..." and so on.
You know that in this "book," cats are soft and endearing creatures, so you put it on the bed.
But this cat seems a little different.
You turn the cat over and gently knead its soft belly. It transforms into a mass of smooth, translucent tentacles flailing in every direction.
Do... all cats have tentacles?
After waking from a long slumber, the unstable Klein wanders around in cat form. At last, he finds the Tarot Club's "Lost Cat" notice, only to be "kidnapped" by an entity of unknown status.
Damn it! Even in cat form, I'm still a true god! How did I end up scooped up and carried home?
And I have tentacles. Can't this person see them?
Suspecting an Outer God invasion, Cat Klein decides to stay and observe...
Your cat doesn't seem very happy. It keeps meowing at you, telling you that it's burdened with the responsibility of saving the world.
But it's just a cat, even if it does have tentacles.
To help the cat live a carefree life, you decide to do something...
Like turning back time.
Like making all the noisy servants lurking beyond the barrier disappear.
The main story is told in third person from Klein's perspective, with some second-person narration from the protagonist's perspective.
I want to write a cute, funny story, though I'm not very good at comedy, so it may contain a lot of deadpan humor.
If you like it, please add it to your favorites to help me get started, okay?
The story takes place after Klein becomes a god. The main plot is about saving the world while turning back time to make up for past regrets.
I've only read Lord of the Mysteries, so this won't involve Circle of Inevitability.
[To save money on a cover, this writer is moonlighting as an artist. Also, my hand-drawn Cat Klein is adorable. (I'm praising my own work.)]
Note:
The protagonist is the pursuer. The pairing is with Cat Klein.
A super-indulgent, invincible power fantasy about doting on Klein. The author's brain has been overcome by Blind Idiot God.
Theme: We must not let Little Klein Cat sacrifice himself to save the world!
