Please Don't Die, This Is So Detective Conan

It was an ordinary day undercover. Toru Amuro was panicking because, to convince the organization he was on their side, he had to shoot a little girl, and the pressure was taking a heavy toll on him.

It was an ordinary day undercover. Hiromitsu Morofushi was panicking too. As he went to prepare the body of an innocent child for burial, he watched in person as the little girl did sit-ups right in front of him and came back to life on the spot.

It was an ordinary day for a transmigrator. The transmigrator wasn't panicking at all, because compared to the massive disaster of blowing up an entire world, what was happening now was no big deal...

Female lead: "Hold on, didn't you ask me to save the little girl being tormented by Mori Ogai? How did I end up blowing up the whole Bungo Stray Dogs world? This can't be right!"

System: "That's right. You blew Mori Ogai up, so the subsequent plot couldn't unfold, and the entire worldline collapsed."

System: "We've matched you with a Worldview Integration System. It can remind you at any time which characters are essential pillars keeping the world in existence."

System: "There are a thousand System missions, but world stability comes first. If the Host messes up, the world blows up, and all that's left are two lines of tears."

System: "Host, if you die this time, there won't be another chance."

Female lead: "Don't worry. I've got Thou Shalt Not Die in my hands this time, so there's no way I can die..."

Our Thou Shalt Not Die is totally scientifically plausible!

And as for why it's scientifically plausible,

we can just blame it all on the distillery's experiments!

And so, seven years later...

Conan: "I've gotten younger and turned into a child!"

Everyone: "…Oh."

Conan: "???"

Then Hiromitsu Morofushi looked away, Toru Amuro put a hand to his forehead, and Shuichi Akai gazed at the sky.

"You've only gotten younger. We've seen way more unscientific things than that!"

The Bungo Stray Dogs cast: "Exactly! Our abilities are totally scientifically plausible!"

This is a complete rewrite of my old novel... While writing the previous version, I followed trends and added a lot of strange stuff. In the end, I wrote an incoherent mess that couldn't go on. But I never gave up on Haruko's story over the past few years, and now I can finally start writing it again! I hope you'll support me!

Theme: Finding a place of safety for those forced to wander.
