Undead Guide [Interstellar Sentinel-Guide]

A seemingly shameless but actually beautiful, powerful, and tragic top Guide x a simple country Sentinel who gradually gets manipulated into becoming a villain

Space opera + cyberpunk + Tom and Jerry (?)

*

After running off with the Federation's money, Rong Bai lives the ideal life on a frontier planet, working four days and resting three. She even picks up a newly differentiated Sentinel and raises him.

But maybe she's just too charming. Even though she's hidden herself so well, a former colleague still uncovers her secret identity, and pursuers arrive one after another.

(Luther: Boss, when you say "charm," do you mean the bounty on your head?)

Rong Bai only wants to retire, so she fakes her death again and makes her escape. This time, she hides on an uninhabited planet that has been abandoned for years and whose resources have run dry. She dives into the ruins and stops paying attention to the outside world.

She doesn't know that the people looking for her have gone even crazier, and there's now also an ownerless mad dog among them...

*Dr. Rong Bai, please comment on your own behavior.*

Rong Bai: Sure, I lied to him, bossed him around, and made him risk his life for me. But I never shorted his pay, and he got all his employee benefits. Is there a better boss than me on this planet?

Luther: Exactly! The boss even bought insurance for me. Both our names are on the same contract!

Rong Bai: (playing dumb)

Luther: But boss, when will I have paid off my debt to you? I just calculated it, and I can't even cover the interest each month.

Rong Bai: It's fine. When the creditor dies, the debt is wiped clean.

*Lieutenant Luther, please comment on someone.*

Luther: Abandoning your kid is inhuman.

[Things to know before reading]

1. Sentinel x Guide, younger man x older woman, one-on-one, but the female lead has deep bonds of comradeship and kinship with others. For her, this story is an SRPG. For the male lead, it's a single-route galgame (Luther: Why can't I save my game?!);

2. The female lead's spirit form is invisible, and the male lead is a bumblebee. Lots of self-indulgent headcanons.

3. To be added.

Theme: Green mountains and clear waters are worth more than mountains of gold and silver.
