To keep people from being frightened of him, Wu Yanji has to hide his identity and pass himself off as human in the voice-acting industry, where he gains a devoted fanbase.

Even when he meets the movie star and becomes close friends with him, Wu Yanji doesn't reveal who he really is.

The movie star takes him out for cake, and Wu Yanji happily accepts. The movie star invites him to appear on a show, and Wu Yanji accepts, surprised.

Then the movie star stands before him holding flowers, reaches out with practiced ease to stroke his feathers, and says he wants to date him. Wu Yanji stares blankly, forced to accept the movie star himself (strike that).

Poor Great King of Cats is tightly bound by the mushroom spirit's mycelium. Miserable and teary-eyed, he can only watch as the rampaging mushroom spirit has its way with him. From then on, he is kept as a pet in someone's home.

And so the slender Great King of Cats is no more. In his place is the biggest chonky cat in the interstellar empire, a cat who can break ten scales: Mi Youzhi!

As an imperial general, Wen Gu has a secret he can't tell anyone.

Born an Enigma, Wen Gu suffers the torment of mental instability every time his rut comes around.

Over time, his mental domain grows worse and worse. Even the interstellar empire's most elite medical team can't treat him. They even conclude that he won't survive another three years.

Just before his rut comes around again, Wen Gu is badly injured and collapses in an alley. No one comes to help him. He is all alone.

He thinks death is coming for him, but what arrives first is a black cat.

The little cat is so cute, so fragile, and so kindhearted.

The cat saves Wen Gu and asks for nothing in return, except that he help promote the little clinic.

But Wen Gu wants to thank the cat properly.

What should he give him?

Wen Gu watches as his mycelium slowly binds Mi Youzhi, his greedy, infatuated gaze fixed on the alluring body of the black cat.

Why not thank his lifesaver by "snuggling the cat a hundred times a day"?
