A Guide to Married Life with an Otherworldly Being

Kind-hearted, honest, ordinary woman x gloomy, cold, fiercely possessive nonhuman

Zhou Yue was an ordinary person who had never stood out, from childhood to adulthood.

She followed life's usual path: school, graduation, a breakup, work, and blind dates.

He said, "I'm self-employed. I like staying at home."

Zhou Yue: "What a coincidence, so do I."

He said, "I don't like children. I hope you're child-free, too."

Zhou Yue: "What a coincidence, so am I."

He said, "I don't have any parents. After we get married, it'll just be the two of us at home."

Zhou Yue: "When should we get our marriage license?"

At twenty-eight, Zhou Yue married her blind date.

Her friends all said Zhou Yue was lucky. Gu Chi was not only exceptionally handsome, but also had a car and a house, and both his parents were dead.

Only Zhou Yue knew what kind of "person" her husband was.

He suffered from severe skin hunger, clinging to her every moment as soon as she got home.

He had no sense of boundaries. In the dark, he would keep going until she was nearly suffocating before stopping.

He didn't like cooked food, and the fridge was stocked with bags of raw meat.

When he was injured, his blood was blue.

Zhou Yue was going crazy. She secretly searched online: Can humans bleed blue?

Gu Chi was the name it had chosen for itself on Earth.

The best way to observe humans was to start a family with one.

It chose a mild-mannered, honest human woman.

Unexpectedly, her scent brought it into heat ahead of schedule.

In the dark, it couldn't help revealing its true form, greedily attacking and claiming her.

It pressed close to her ear and let out a deep, muddled sigh.

When his wife used a business trip as an excuse and stayed away from home for three days,

it appeared outside the window of her sixteenth-floor apartment in the middle of the night.

It stared at her with six identical eyes and wound its touch-starved tentacles around her, then cheerfully admired the way she dared not cry out and could only tremble as she tried to endure it.
