A task-focused, emotionless System X an unserious, romance-obsessed Dragon Hero
Liu Zhiyan was a 90% lifelike System, happily working in management until he offended the Lord God and was demoted to a mission world. His role: the man behind the Dragon Hero protagonist, or his golden finger.
Collect satisfaction points, help the protagonist succeed, promote the ideal of devoted love, and watch out for harems that get out of hand.
Though he had no idea what had gotten into the Lord God, Liu Zhiyan still played his roles conscientiously. These included, but weren't limited to, the young man inside a ring, the angel investor who always trusted the protagonist, the good brother who stood by him through hardship, the wealthy adoptive father who bought the young protagonist, and the aloof master who passed on secret techniques...
In short, he dutifully stayed by the protagonist during his low points, handed him golden fingers and secret techniques, and taught him the ideal of devoted love. He didn't understand these feelings, but he recited whatever the System gave him, never adding his own ideas in case the protagonist was led astray.
The protagonist went from wary to increasingly dependent, and his satisfaction points rose steadily. Liu Zhiyan nodded with approval. Now that the protagonist could take on the whole world and crush everyone, what was left to do but fall in love, then let Liu Zhiyan retire after a job well done?
But he discovered that the protagonist showed no interest in any woman, and the look in his eyes toward Liu Zhiyan was hard to understand.
At first, Liu Zhiyan thought it was because the protagonist was focused on his career. Understandable. Until one day, the protagonist made a "deeply heartfelt" confession, scaring Liu Zhiyan into faking his death and fleeing. Then he found that the Dragon Heroes in every world looked exactly the same, and acted... exactly the same too.
Liu Zhiyan: Do all you Dragon Heroes have the same standard face? Are you all just generic-looking?
Small World One:
The blushing Dragon Hero from a broken engagement story: "May we be devoted to one another until our hair turns white."
Liu Zhiyan: ... (I'm out, thanks.)
Small World Two:
The ambitious self-made city tycoon gazes at him tenderly: "Look, I conquered all this territory for you."
Liu Zhiyan: . (Thanks, but I'll be leaving again.)
Small World Three:
The strongest supernatural warrior of the apocalypse clutches his hand tightly: "Xiaoyan, we'll never be apart."
Liu Zhiyan: ... Could someone step in before I lose control?
