Gossip in the Demolition Village [Millennium]

Luo An has the sweet face of a darling girl, but she's a sanda champion. Born with superhuman strength, she transmigrates into a wealthy family in Hong Kong and muddles along with her grandparents and parents until the 1980s.

After the family splits up, she takes what little remains of their divided estate and promptly heads to the mainland to inherit the ancestral home and farmland.

Her family settles in Happiness Village and opens a little supermarket. Though Luo An is only six, she's the last person in the village anyone would dare cross.

At twenty-one, she marries He Zhi, the childhood friend she's protected since they were young. More accurately, he moves in with her, bringing his whole family along.

From then on, the He family gets a new decision-maker, and the two families become one. Grandma and her in-laws finally stand up for themselves, no longer the spineless, bullied people they used to be!

The laid-back couple have a sweet, slightly airheaded daughter after marriage. Together with their big family, they tend the little supermarket and enjoy a peaceful, leisurely life, occasionally stopping to savor a bit of gossip.

At the turn of the millennium, news breaks that the village is slated for demolition, and the whole place erupts in excitement! The laid-back family turns into a pack of melon-field marmots, unable to stop watching the drama and snacking on gossip!

# A tearful thirty-year-old man plots for ages to win back his first love, determined to be a devoted husband and train cats and dogs?

# A cheating ex-husband weeps and begs his ex-wife, the village beauty, to forgive him, staging a return-to-the-village seduction? Too bad a younger rival swoops in!

# The village's simple-minded guardian turns into a hot commodity. His family hosts a martial arts contest to find him a bride: whoever can beat Luo An gets to marry into the family and call the shots?

Luo An: How did I get dragged into this?

# A lonely old woman in the village goes on a wild spending spree, adopting thirty-something grandsons and granddaughters who take turns visiting every month to show their filial devotion?

The whole family keeps pace with the village, from the demolition site to the relocation complex and then a huge villa. Wherever the gossip goes, the little supermarket follows...
