Bai He transmigrates into a game called Honkai: Star Rail.
Bad news: He has become a Vidyadhara elder on the Xianzhou Luofu.
Good news: Dan Feng, the former Vidyadhara High Elder from the game's story, is still an egg, and won't hatch for another fifty years or so.
So Bai He beats up the other Vidyadhara elders with one hand and courts Teng Xiao, who hasn't become a general yet, with the other.
Years later, his best friend has become a general, while Bai He has successfully seized power among the Vidyadhara and become the guardian of the newly hatched Dan Feng.
But
"Elder Bai He, we have a problem! Lord Dan Feng made the new apprentice of the sword champion cry!"
"What's there to panic about? If he wasn't good enough, he's got no business tattling. It's a small thing."
A few months later.
"Elder Bai He, we have a problem! Lord Dan Feng pulled up and ate all the medicinal herbs planted by the Alchemy Commission!"
"...Don't panic. Let me find Teng Xiao."
A few years later.
"Elder Bai He, we have a problem! Dan Feng broke the freshly forged sword of the talented child General Teng Xiao just adopted, right in front of him!"
"..."
Bai He looked gravely at Dan Feng, whom Teng Xiao had brought over by the scruff of his collar.
"Can I pay you back in kind?" Bai He asked.
Teng Xiao: "...Could you be serious for once?"
Many years later.
Dan Feng had grown into an adult, handsome and proud, his gaze sweeping over everyone in the room.
"I, Dan Feng, High Elder of the Vidyadhara on the Luofu, demand that you send me money!"
Bai He stroked his chin as he looked at the overpowered young master in front of him.
Well, it's definitely not his fault the kid turned out this way! It must be the inherited memories of the High Elders that did it!
