Momoi Nana received a letter from her hometown. Her chronically gambling father had finally died, leaving her a house back home as his inheritance.
Not long after she rented it out, the tenants called to say that strange noises came from the house every night. One night, a tenant got up and saw a long-haired female ghost crawling out of the television.
Momoi Nana was a staunch materialist, so she insisted on going back herself to see what kind of strange things could possibly happen in that house.
On her first day back in her hometown, she found an old videotape. After watching it, she encountered the long-haired female ghost the tenants had described that very night. She promptly unplugged the TV.
While wandering through the fields, she spotted a long-haired man of unbelievably towering height wearing a white top hat. That night, he broke into her home and insisted on eating her.
Near the apartment she was renting, she ran into a man wearing a mask who asked if she thought he was good-looking. Momoi Nana suspected he was the handsome high schooler next door, ignored him, and walked right past.
On her way home from school on a rainy day, she saw a handsome black-haired boy standing at a crossroads. She'd heard that if you met him, you could ask him to tell your fortune in love. But Momoi Nana only wanted to know when she'd get rich.
The night she uploaded the listing to sell the house, she had a nightmare. In it, a woman and her dark-circled-eyed son kept chasing her without end. When she woke up, she found a ghastly pale little boy actually staring at her from beside her.
