An You has only recently started her office job, and one of the contestants on the first show she’s responsible for is nicknamed the Child of God. As usual, she needs to do her homework before filming, but to her surprise, she accidentally transmigrates into the past.
But this past seems different from the past she knows. It’s a past she’s never experienced before.
To her surprise, in this “past” she meets the boy known as the Child of God. He’s in his second year of middle school, while she’s a freshman in high school.
Their first conversation goes terribly.
Yukimura Seiichi: I don’t know you.
An You: That’s fine. I know you.
An You watches Yukimura Seiichi lead Rikkai Dai to one victory after another, eventually winning three consecutive national titles.
On graduation day, Yukimura Seiichi asks her to meet him beneath the cherry tree behind the school building, intending to confess his feelings. At that crucial moment, An You returns to reality.
She barely gets a few peaceful days before she transmigrates again in her sleep. This time, she meets Yukimura in his first year of high school, while she’s a senior.
Just like before, An You goes up to greet him, but Yukimura tells her he doesn’t know her.
Yukimura Seiichi: This is the first time we’ve met, right?
An You: It’s me, An You. We’ve met before.
Yukimura Seiichi: I’m sorry, but I don’t know you.
Only then does An You realize that maybe she hasn’t transmigrated through time at all...
