Standard (?) blurb:

You're a player. After downloading a game called How to Save a Bandaged Black Cat, you fall in love at first sight with a bandaged black cat. But the cat pays you no attention.

As a player, you promptly use the player-exclusive tactic of repeatedly checking in and pestering the cat: giving gifts, saying hello, helping it out of trouble...

The bandaged black cat seems to be just a little moved by you...

But the bandaged black cat still dies.

It dies by suicide.

Luckily, you're a player. You can reload and try again, can't you?

Reader's Guide:

1. Second-person narration, with some third-person narration

2. Updates at 6 p.m.

3. OOC warning!

4. An interactive novel, but if there aren't enough reservations (?), dark mode will be activated (at the author's discretion)

5. The protagonist's gender was decided by an authorial dice roll. It was fate, okay? ()

Theme: Why do people want to live? Why do they want to die?
